We care about your progress and offer all members the opportunity to undertake a 12-week programme designed to push you to your limit and help you get the most out of your training at Holywell Leisure Centre.
GYM & FACILITY INDUCTION
Get to know the team, the building, gym equipment and find out about our group classes better to make the most of your membership. A member of the gym team will introduce themselves and then take you through a welcome induction which will include general fitness and resistance machines to ensure you know how to use them safely. The induction will take around 30 minutes, this will also include a walkround of the centre if you wish.
This is an opportunity to speak with the gym staff and tell them what you want to achieve. We will weigh and measure you and give you your own personal fitness plan so you have something to work with in the gym and help you achieve your goals over the coming weeks. The programme can also offer diet advice and information on classes that may also benefit you. As an added bonus we can also give you your own personal challenge to push you that little bit more.
The fitness plan will take around 30 minutes
To keep you on your toes, we will give you a fitness review every 4 weeks with updated goals and your progression in mind. Using this fitness review will only bring you closer to achieving your goals.
The fitness review will take around 20 minutes.
No matter what your fitness level is, we have a mixed fitness class timetable running throughout the week, so you can get fit and healthy at a pace that suits you. With classes catering for all abilities, there's something for everyone, we can tailor in suitable classes in your fitness plan.
