We have a brand new job opportunity available as a receptionist. The receptionist’s role here at Hollywell Leisure Centre is a broad range of tasks and we require somebody who enjoys working with all the members of our team. The successful candidate will report to Systems and the Assistant Systems officer.
As the first point of call within a busy leisure centre we require a candidate who has a friendly, informative and professional manner. We also need an individual who will keep their cool in all situations.
The chosen candidate will meet and greet customers warmly upon arrival at the leisure centre. We require a receptionist to take bookings via phone and in person. The successful candidate will need to be confident working with modern technology and able to take card payments as well as cash at the time of booking. This technological knowledge will also come in useful in assisting the inputting of Direct Debit memberships.
Our receptionist should be able help customers with any queries they have. We also need customer details recorded and memberships updated in a precise manner on a regular basis. Our leisure centre requires the receptionist to “cash up” at the end of each shift ensuring that finances balance. We would like a receptionist to keep the reception clean and subsequently welcoming at all times.
We require a receptionist with a good standard of education. Attention to detail is an important part of this receptionist role to ensure precise records are kept. The chosen candidate should have a good working knowledge of computer systems. Most importantly we need an individual who can deal with customer concerns and enquires. We subsequently expect these enquiries to be forwarded to the appropriate individual if they can’t be resolved at reception.
We require an individual who is willing to familiarise themselves with the facilities and activities on offer at Hollywell Leisure Centre and take great pride in offering the best customer service. A friendly and approachable receptionist will ensure the customers feel relaxed about their enquiries. Excellent verbal and written communication skills certainly should be upheld at all times. We need a calm headed individual on reception to apply tact and diplomacy when dealing with certain situations.
We would see GDPR knowledge as a particular bonus for a candidate. A candidate who has a flexible working attitude and willingness to cover extra shifts when required will be looked upon favourably.
